The Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra has been called the best camera phone in the world, and while that's a pretty lofty title, it's easy to see why. Even in appearance, the big, round camera on the front really makes it look the part, especially when you hold it horizontally. Fortunately, it does what it was designed to do.
Leica and Xiaomi co-designed the 13 Ultra's professional quad-lens camera system, featuring a 50-megapixel, 1-inch sensor with variable aperture, a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 5x optical zoom, and another 50 MP lens with 3.2x zoom MP telephoto lens. x optical zoom, all of which combine to essentially eliminate the need for you to buy a separate professional camera in addition to your phone.
In addition to the camera, the Mi 13 Ultra is powered by a high-end Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor (the same one found in the Mi 13 Pro and Mi 13, as well as many other 2023 flagship Android phones) that delivers stunningly smooth performance.
Its 5,000 mAh battery is also good for a full 16 hours of light to moderate use, meaning you can browse, play games, or take photos as much as you want without worrying about running out of juice. Unfortunately, unlike the Mi 13 Pro, the Mi 13 Ultra only supports 90W wired charging. That's still pretty good, but it does mean that the battery takes about 40 minutes to fully charge, compared to 19 minutes on other Xiaomi phones.
Overall, Xiaomi Mi 13 Ultra is a phone with very powerful camera capabilities and also has many advantages in other aspects. It's quite expensive, but if you're passionate about photography on the go, it's definitely worth the effort and cost.
